Happiness is ..........

Upcycling, painting, shabby chic-ing and searching for pieces to take from junk to funk !
I love my job and it's so satisfying when someone loves the pieces I upcycle enough to buy them.

This is a 1930's  suitcase which I painted in Annie Sloan 'Paris grey'
Then I decoupaged it with Roses cut out of wall paper I the. Painted and papered the inside

This is a customers own stool that she asked me to decoupage with Roses. I used paper napkins. It's a tricky technique as only one layer of the three is used so it's very thin and tears easily. But the end result is amazing as it looks like it was painted on.

These are two clay pots that I first painted and then Decoupaged when all the area is finally covered I coat the pots with a couple of coats of varnish which makes them usable as the inside is painted and varnished too.
